- Ken Keppeler and Jeanie McLerie – This is the heart of Bayou Seco.
- Summer Nights at Alb. Bio Park – 8-10-06 – Bayou Seco/Jasper unit with John Tank on Sax. We rocked the night.
- Original Bayou Seco with Paul Rangell and Emily Abbink – We still play with these folks sometimes in Santa Cruz and Paul joins us periodically in Europe.
- Bayou Seco/Jasper – Terry Bluhm (Acoustic Bass) has been playing with us since the early 1980’s. Jefferson Voorhees (Drums) joined a couple of years later. Then Frank McCullough (Electric and Acoustic Guitar) joined us in the late 1990’s. They have a great band called Jasper and we play a more rockin’ version of Bayou Seco with them.
- Bayou Seco South – Based out of Las Cruces, New Mexico, this band is acoustic and plays a traditional mix of Cajun, NorteƱo, Old Time, Tohono O’Odham and more. It includes Rus Bradbird on fiddle and Dennis Daily on guitar. We sometimes are fortunate to include our friend, John Tank, on Saxophones.
- Ken and Jeanie with Philippe Pierson – We play often with Philippe in France. He plays guitar and washboard and is a trusted old friend.
- Bayou Seco Nuevo – We play with Jean-Marie Peschiutta and Natalie Shelar in France. They have a rockin’ country band, Detour, as well as a great bluegrass band, Turquoise. Ken has known them since the mid 1970’s and Jeanie met them for the first time in Germany in 1978. This band really rocks and crosses from contemporary country/bluegrass to traditional styles of American music from Louisiana, the southwest and the south.
- Delta Sisters -Frannie Leopold & Jeanie – Playing music together since 1974, Frannie and Jeanie still get together to play for gigs and for fun.

- J&K & Terry Bluhm, Jefferson Voorhees, Frank McCullough at Kimo Theatre on the night of a Katrina benefit. Another shot of our Albuquerque band. We have played with Terry since the very early 80’s and with Jefferson since the early 90’s. Frank is a really fine guitarist that we have known for years and he has joined us for the last six years.
- J&K & Yasha and Carrie Aginsky – Yaxha and Carrie moved to France in 1993 and just moved back to San Francisco in 2006. They put on a wonderful festival, Loustock, while they were living there in the mountains of central France. We have really enjoy playing with them and still get together here and in France to play. They are both film makers and have made many films, including ‘Blues de Balfa’ and ‘Cajun Visits’ which we helped them make back in 1981.
- J&K and Antonia Apodaca – Antonia Apodace is a state treasure here in New Mexico. We first met here and her husband, Max, in 1984. After Max died, we started playing with her and helped her get on her musical feet again. She is and amazing guitarist and songwriter and a very energetic button accordion player. She also has a very extensive repertoire of traditional hispanic tunes and songs from Northern New Mexico that she learned from her parents and uncles.
- J&K and Paul – A shot of us with Paul Rangell at his house in Santa Cruz, Calif. He painted that great chile behind us. He teaches Lithography at the Univ. of Calif. at Santa Cruz. His wife Emily also teaches archeology and the history of the missions in Calif, as well as writing really nice children’s books.

- K&J and Paul Rangell Emily Abbink, Raf and Ben – This is us with Paul and Emily and their two boys, Raf and Bennie. The boys are both fine musicians and play other instruments and sing. Raf is at UC Berkeley and Ben is getting ready to leave high school soon. They have played with us since they were in Emily’s belly.
- Loustock 2005 with Philippe Pierson and Simon Burgess – Here we are at the Loustock Festival in central France in 2005 with our friend Philippe and an old friend from New Zealand, Simon Burgess. Simon played for many years in Germany in the Ma Jones Flophouse band, back in the 70’s and 80’s.
- Mardi Morgat Bretagne 2005 & Philippe Pierson – Mardi Morgat is a town south of Brest in Bretagne. A beautiful place. This was a really fun gig though it rained the whole time. The audience just stood out in the rain for the whole two sets. They were stretched all the way back to the sea. We even had a teenage cheering section.

This year we were joined by (from the left) Phil Salazar, Gilles Apap, Jim Wimmer and then Jeanie and Ken. A real fiddle extravaganza. We also had my brother-in-law Tom Lee on bass. We are often joined Peter Feldman and Mike Mendelson.
- The Haute Champagne version of Bayou Seco – Jeanie and Ken with Philippe Pierson, our hardworking French friend who lives in the beautiful little village of Droyes near the Lac du Der Chantecoq.
