OTHER LINKS OF INTEREST

Yasha Aginsky – Film Maker – Makes great films on a wide variety of subjects. We worked with him, in Lousiana in 1982, on the films, ‘Blues De Balfa’ and ‘Cajun Visits.’ You can buy these and some other great films on traditional music here.

Suzy and Eric Thompson – Fantastic and creative musicians that play everything from Old Time Appalachian to Blues, Cajun and Beyond.

The Creole Belles – A Bay Area (San Francisco that is) cajun/creole band that really captures the spirit of the old time creole music of SW Louisiana.

Cantos Para Todos – A very nice website from our friend Dr. Roy Howard, who taught Navajo and Spanish in Gallup, New Mexico. He has a lot of stories and music from that area and interesting work on teaching bilingual students. He now lives in Wichita, KS.

RanchoBozo.com
This is a wonderful, friendly website from our friend Wayne Elkin in the Bay Area of Califas. It has some interesting music from various folks, including my brother Sean. A real flashback to the sixties brought into the the modern world.

Musical Traditions
This is a fantastic site and Rod Stradling is continually putting out new material, including some of the old North American Traditions items from the Rounder catalogue as well as a wonderful collection of English and Irish traditional singers and musicians. He also has reissued a few fine Italian recordings, The Rice Girls being one of my favorites.
